Dates are for the normal permanent-grant cycle. A beneficiary selected for grant review can be moved to a separate fourth payment day when SASSA announces that arrangement.

How the three-day sequence works

  • Older Persons Grant is normally paid first.
  • Disability Grant follows on the next payment day.
  • Children’s grants follow after Disability.
  • Dates may shift around weekends, public holidays, Mondays and the first day of a month.

SRD R370 does not use this fixed three-day calendar

SRD payments are processed differently from the permanent social grants. An SRD applicant should treat any payment information attached to their own approved period as the relevant payment information rather than assuming that the permanent-grant calendar applies to SRD.
