The key rule
Do not use the permanent-grant payment calendar as an SRD payday calendar. For SRD, approval and payment processing are separate stages, and payment information can appear after an approved decision.
If you are approved but no payment date is shown
- Confirm that the correct month or period is approved.
- Make sure your payment or banking information is valid and belongs to you where required.
- Allow time for payment processing after the decision.
- Do not create duplicate applications merely because payment information has not appeared yet.
SRD amount and extension
The SRD amount remains R370 per month for successful applicants during the extension from April 2026 through 31 March 2027.
